This application consists of a five channel nutrient auto-analyzer system. The system is able to determine the concentration of nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, phosphorus, and silicate in marine and freshwater samples. This SKALAR SanPlus system (SKALAR analytic, Germany), equipped with a background matrix correction (salinity correction), is able to measure in a full automated way during night. The detection limit is defined to 0.1 µmol/L for each compound. We need at least 10mL of sample for a five-parameter analysis.
