Projects
I am interested in the interactions between ocean circulation, climate, and the marine carbon cycle. My current research deals with the Southern Ocean, a key region for air-sea CO2 and heat exchanges. By performing simulations with a high-resolution ocean general circulation model including biogeochemistry, my goal is to isolate the role of mesoscale eddies in the response of the Southern Ocean circulation and CO2 uptake to a changing climate.
