Conveying knowledge – intense dialog with society
With its unique, interdisciplinary research approach, the Cluster of Excellence „The Future Ocean“ wants to improve the transfer of research results into society. Intense dialog is therefore a primary objective. The Cluster's exhibits are presented in numerous permanent and special exhibitions, at conferences and events, such as events on ocean and climate change for example.
Within the framework of the school programs, marine scientists offer a diverse program for interested students and teachers. This includes the children's university as well as courses in the Ozeanwabe, the Kiel Research Workshop.
