In 2012, the Year of Science, the exhibition will focus on the topic of sustainability. Alongside issues such as climate change, sustainable energy supplies and water management, the Cluster’s theme of sustainable fishery will also be discussed.
The exhibition in the converted cargo ship guides the visitors through an entire city. In apartments, the train station, the museum or in the supermarket, children, adolescents and adults can experience science and research first hand. More than 40 – mostly interactive – exhibits convey current research topics in a lively, visual way. The Cluster is represented by a game on overfishing at the fish counter in the supermarket.
The MS Wissenschaft will be in Kiel from the 21st – 24th of June (Wischhofstraße / Am Seefischmarkt). The exhibition is open daily from 10 am – 7 pm. Entry is free.
